Lots of interesting matchups are waiting for the Penn State Nittany Lions this season and football tickets will not be here much longer. The excitement is palpable on the PSU campus, and most students already have their tickets locked up. The Nittany Lions’s Beaver Stadium is going to be going nuts in no time, as Penn State football takes on the best teams in the new-look Big Ten. PSU is looking to compete in the first Big Ten Championship Game in 2011 but its not going to be easy. If you don’t have them buy some PSU football tickets right now as the team is ready to roll. Nittany Lions Head Coach Joe Paterno, who is ok after an on-field collision, has a solid roster to work with, and with QB Matthew McGloin looking sharp this is going to be a fun season in University Park. The Lions are aiming for a solid bowl game invite so look for them to play hard in 2011. The college football season is warming up so purchase Penn State Nittany Lions football tickets right now and see what promises to be a very fun season of Lions football.

2011 Pennsylvania State University Schedule

The Pennsylvania State University face some tough teams in 2011, and an already tough Big Ten schedule is made even tougher with some big out of conference teams. The Bleacher Report lets you know what you need to know for each game on the schedule. Every Lions football game is a good one, but this season there are several that look extra-tantalizing. Looming extra-large on the schedule are games against the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Iowa Hawkeyes, two games you can bet Pennsylvania State University football tickets are extra-hot for. The Penn State Nittany Lions vs Alabama Crimson Tide game goes down on September 10 at Beaver Stadium, a date many Lions fans have circled on their calendar. The Lions vs Bama game should be a thriller, with ‘Bama harboring National Championship aspiration, so expect tickets to be in extra demand this year. The other big game on the schedule is against the Iowa Hawkeyes, another team that gets fans in University Park really fired up. The Penn State Nittany Lions Iowa Hawkeyes game takes place on October 8 at Beaver Stadium so if you can buy tickets its gonna be a thriller. But yes, Lions games against Alabama and Iowa are big, but isn’t every game on the schedule a big one?

Penn State Nittany Lions players

Coach Joe Paterno has some talented players on the roster, but expect him to make sure they play to their potential. QB Matthew McGloin has been looking better and better, but the QB battle probably won’t be settled until later in the season as McGloin and Robert Bolden compete to be PSU’s starting QB. Whoever the Penn Sate QB ends up being, they will have some very good players around the. “Papa” Joe Paterno also scored a legit player with bringing TE Jesse James from South Allegheny to University Park, as well as fullback JP Holtz. It looks like Jesse James is living up to the hype, but he’s only going to get better the longer he’s a Penn State Nittany Lions. So be there to see how the Pennsylvania State University football team performs in person with cheap tickets.

You know the stands at Beaver Stadium are going to be wild, and they need you there making noise with everyone. With a total capacity of 10,7282 at Beaver Stadium, there are enough tickets to go around in University Park, Pennsylvania. The Penn State Nittany Lions need you cheering them on if they are going to win in the Big Ten Championship Game. Watch the Penn State Nittany Lions aim for the 2011 Big Ten Championship Game and buy some PSU football tickets before the Lions season goes away.

Its been a great year so far for the Penn State Nittany Lions and Coach Joe Paterno but there’s still plenty of college football to be played. Bowl Season will be here before you know it, but for now lets focus on the path ahead for the Nittany Lions. If you’ve bought Penn State Nittany Lions tickets then you know this team can put on a show! There have been some memorable moments at Beaver Stadium for the Nittany Lions this year, but as the Big Ten schedule heats up the action will be nuts! Get out to Beaver Stadium this year because the Penn State football team needs you if they are going to compete in the Big Ten Championship Game and get in position for a favorable bowl invitation.

So far this season there have been some ups and downs for Coach Joe Paterno and the rest of the Nittany Lions. If you’ve made it out Beaver Stadium you know that these fans are fired up. You can be one of the 107,282 Nittany Lions ticket holders in the stands for any home, or away, game you’d like. Be there to cheer on Penn State quarterback Robert Bolden live and in person. Bolden has had some incredible plays so far, but who knows what is next! And speaking of incredible, when you buy Penn State Nittany Lions tickets you’ll also get to see Evan Royster in action. You can see them both in action with Penn State football tickets available online. Between Bolden and Royster the Nittany Lions have a tough duo that can hang with anyone so make sure you are there.

PSU‘s Rivalry Game vs MSU

And for many fans the biggest game of the season is also the last game known as The Battle of the Land Grants. “Rivalry Week,” as college football fans call the final week of grudge match of the season, sees some incredible games each year. With Penn State taking on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, November 27 fans are already looking for tickets for the Land Grant Game. This is one game you do not want to miss, and winning the Land Grant Trophy is one of the biggest goals each season for the Lions. See the game in person and buy some MSU football tickets right quick. You can bet that tickets to watch the Nittany Lions vs the Spartans are going to be hot this year so don’t miss out.

Penn State Nittany Lions in the Big Ten Champions Game?
And of course winning the rivalry game is big, but not quite as big as winning the division, which PSU football will be able to get next year. The Big Ten is splitting into two divisions, and that gives the conference the opportunity to host a championship game. The Big Ten Championship Game is one of the biggest events in football, and if the Nittany Lions are involved this year will be NUTS! Be there to see the action and pick up those Big Ten Championship tickets as fast as you can. Demand for Big Ten Championship Game tickets is always through the roof and this year that seems to be the case again. But what do you expect when Penn State are involved!

2010 Penn State Nittany Lions Bowl appearance?
Will the Nittany Lions earn an invitation to a bowl game? This looks like a real possibility, but you’ll have to buy Penn State football tickets to see how the team looks for yourself. The Big Ten is aligned with the BOWL and the Nittany Lions will definitely be trying to get in there, if not the BCS Championship Game. Last year, in the Capital One Bowl the Nittany Lions narrowly beat the LSU in a thrilling match. That was quite a game for fans, but who knows what will happen this year. The 2010 – 2011 bowl season is going to see a lot of fun so do not miss out. Penn State Bowl Game tickets would be really popular, so turn here after Selection Sunday. This year promises to hold another exciting Bowl Game in store, so don’t miss out.

The Penn State Nittany Lions have salvaged their season after some early losses and will once again be playing football on New Year’s Day. Penn State football will be taking on the LSU Tigers in what should be a very big game pitting the Big Ten vs. the SEC. Both Penn State and LSU enjoy some of the most dedicated fan bases in college football so there will be a lot of fans looking to get to the game. Make sure that you are able to get Penn State Capital One Bowl tickets soon so that you can see the fun in person. You might recall that last year the Lions were unable to beat the USC Trojans for fans who made the trek with Rose Bowl tickets in hand. So now the Lions have to beat the Tigers to show they are still one of the elite powers in college football. The Penn State LSU Capital One Bowl goes down on New Years Day, Jan. 1 in Orlando, Florida. If you can’t buy Penn State tickets for the Capital One Bowl the game airs on ABC at 1 p.m. And if you want to see the National Title Game you can also buy BCS Game tickets.

Penn State football is thrilled to be headed to the 2009 Rose Bowl and expecting big things out west. its been a great year for the Nittany Lions and Penn State football in general, and the trip to the Rose Bowl is a fantastic way to end the season.

The last time Penn State and USC played in the Rose Bowl was in the 1923 Rose Bowl, when the Trojans beat the Lions 14-3. That was the ninth time that there were Rose Bowl tickets for sale. The 2009 Rose Bowl will be one of the best bowl games of the college football season, so don’t wait to get your Rose Bowl tickets.

This great Rose Bowl match-up of USC vs Penn State is just a blessing for Penn State Football fans, its one for all college football fans. Penn State football has been looking very sharp, and they will need their A game if they are going to take down the Trojans. Penn State and USC have just one loss, and both Rose Bowl teams can claim one of the deepest histories and biggest followings in all of sports. Its no wonder that Penn State football Rose Bowl tickets are some of the fastest selling Rose Bowl tickets we’ve ever seen.

The 2009 Rose Bowl appearence is USC football’s fourth straight Rose Bowl invitation. USC Football has been invited to the Rose Bowl an astounding 34 times.

The Penn Offense will need to play tough to put up points. USC’s defense could be called the best in college football, as their their 3.4 yards-per-play average is among the most impressive in all of college football history.

Penn State has been rewarded for a great season and hard-fought year with this Rose Bowl berth. The Lions have been among the best college football teams all season long. This trip the to granddaddy of them All is their well-deserved prize. Now they just need to take the Rose Bowl trophy home.

Both Penn State football and USC football will need their solid defense if they are going to win the Rose Bowl. Penn State ended the regular college football season fifth in total defense and fourth in scoring defense. Its gonna be tough to go up against USC, as they were the best defensive team in both total defense as well as scoring defense.

While defense will be a major factor in deciding who wins the Rose Bowl, offense is what wins games overall. I know they say defense wins games, but its tough to win if you don’t put up any points! Fortunately for people the buy Rose Bowl tickets, Penn State and USC are capable of putting up big points. Penn State football averaged 40.2 points per game. On the other side the USC Trojans have scored an average of 37.5 in their games.

Both teams also have capable quarterback. Penn State’s Daryll Clark passed for 2,319 yards this season while throwing 17 touchdowns. His Rose bowl counterpart Mark Sanchez threw for 2,794 yards while completing 30 touchdowns.

Both Penn State and USC are just about even in BCS rankings. Penn State is right behind #5 USC at #6. They are both 11-1, as each team was upset during the season. Penn State football fans are still trying to forget the loss to Iowa 24-23 caused by a missed 31-yard field goal just 1 second left on the clock. The Trojans lost to Oregon State 27-21,a team that Penn State beat 45-14. Penn State and USC both played Fiesta Bowl bound Ohio State. USC won 35-3 and Penn State beat the Buckeyes 13-6.

Joe Paterno will have turned 82 by the time the Rose Bowl starts. “We’re delighted to have an opportunity to go out there to Pasadena and play against a team with the caliber and tradition of Southern Cal,” Paterno said in Yahoo Sports. “All of our fans are excited. My team is excited. I hope we can go out there and be competitive with them. I’m a little bit nervous. This is a very, very impressive football team, Southern Cal. They do everything well.”

USC Coach Pete Carroll had nothing but good things to say about Paterno. “He’s brought a tremendous energy and spirit to football and to the game, love of the game that will last forever. I see how feisty he is, how tough he is. I just marvel at all of the years and the excellence,” said Carroll. “He’s stood for college football and for football in general as a true icon in every sense of the word.”

Joe Pa’s lifetime record is 383-126-3. He is an impressive is 23-10-1 in Bowl Game appearances. Paterno the only college football coach to win all four of the major bowls. He first came to Penn State as coach in 1966. Paterno’s 383 wins, 34 bowls and 23 bowl wins are all college football records and a testament to his abilities. Under Paterno, the Nittany Lions made their Rose Bowl record 1-1 when they beat Oregon in 1994.

USC’s Taylor Mays is looking forward to seeing the legendary coach. “I’m going to look for him to shake his hand. It’s cool to play Penn State and Joe Paterno. With all of the history of both schools, it’s a classic matchup,” he said.

Paterno also has a lot of good thing sto say about Carroll. “Pete has done a terrific job .Two or three coaches out there that really changed he whole game of football. Pete certainly has been right there at the top of it,” said Paterno.

Under Carroll, the Trojans hold the country’s best winning percentage. Just like Joe, Carroll has some impressive coaching stats. Since Carroll came to USC seven years ago, USC football has either won or shared in the Pac-10 Championship. They have won at least 11 games and played in a BCS bowl each year. Carroll has an 81-9 record since coking to USC. The Trojans have won 5 of the last 6 bowl appearances they had. USC Football is 5-1 in their all-time BCS bowl games. The last time the Trojans went to the Rose Bowl was for the
2006 Rose Bowl.

Penn State and USC football have battled a eight times overall. The 2009 Rose Bowl will give one of them the head-to-head edge, as they are tied at 4-4 against each other. Their most recent clash was in 2000 in Giants Stadium. You’ll recall Penn State was victorious in that Penn State vs USC game. You might also recall that after that season was when Carroll came aboard.

The 2009 Rose Bowl is going to be a really good show that should cap was has been a great season. And keep in mind that year Penn State football tickets will once again be cack to help you find the best tickets to Penn State football.

Thankfully, we learned pretty early that Penn State would be in the Rose Bowl. Fans of USC Football aren’t so lucky, they need to wait until Saturday to find out if they are going to the Rose Bowl. All they need to do is beat UCLA, which shouldn’t be a problem. The only issue is that UCLA probably doesn’t feel that way.

I have a feeling the Bruins are going to be a bit of a pain for the Trojans. I don’t think that USC will loose, but I do think it is completely within the realm of possibility. Stranger things have happened. it should be a good game, and with the SEC Championship on the same day, its gonna be a great weekend for college football. By the way, if you are a USC fan, or if you just want to check out our likely Rose Bowl competition, I suggest you check out this USC Football tickets site I found. Its got some good info, and it fun to see what others think about our Penn State lions.

We here at Penn State Football tickets can’t wait or selection Sunday to see what all the big Bowl game match-ups are going to be. We know that we’re going to the Rose Bowl, and it looks like we’ll be facing UNC, barring a historic collapse, but we want to know definitely! And of course its going to be great to see what all the other match-ups are going to be as well. There are going to be some great games, and I for one can’t wait to see them all. Of course, nothing is going to be bigger than Penn State USC Rose Bowl tickets, but there are also going to be some hot bowl game tickets out there. The BCS Championship is going to be huge, and I think the Fiesta Bowl looks like it could be quite a showdown.

Its been a great year so far for our boys the Nittany Lions, and now they are off to play in the school’s second ever Rose Bowl. It is a great honor to be representing the Big Ten in the oldest and most historic of the bowl games. Did you know that the term “bowl” to refer to the end of the season games comes from the Rose Bowl. Rose Bowl Stadium was given that name because it looks like, well a bowl. If it wasn’t for the Rose Bowl we wouldn’t have the Cotton Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, or even the SuperBowl. Its great that Penn State is going to play in such a historic setting after all they’ve been through this year. If you can, I would highly recommend getting yourself some Penn State Rose Bowl tickets. The game is gonna be incredible, and it should be one for the ages. Ticket Liquidator always seems to have the best tickets online, and while they are sold above face value, you could say that these tickets are truly priceless.
